Privacy Policy
How Loadara ("we", "us") handles personal information for Loadara LLC.
1. Scope
Loadara is a business-to-business logistics platform for US-based dump-truck fleets. This policy describes the personal information we collect from account holders, organization members, and the drivers whose records our customers manage, along with the choices available to you. Loadara serves the United States only.
2. Information we collect
- Account data: name, work email, password credentials, role, and organization membership.
- Organization data: company profile, billing contact, and settings you provide about your fleet.
- Driver personal information: records our customers upload or enter about their drivers, which may include names, contact details, commercial driver's license (CDL) numbers and images, insurance documents, and related compliance files.
- Usage data: log, device, and interaction data generated as you use the service (for security, debugging, and product improvement).
- Payment-related data: processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
3. Why we use it
We use personal information to provide and secure the service, authenticate users, operate multi-tenant workspaces, process subscription payments and platform-facilitated payments, communicate with you, provide support, meet legal obligations, and improve the product. We do not use driver personal information for our own advertising.
4. Service providers (processors)
We share personal information with vendors that process it on our behalf under contract, including:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and document storage.
- Stripe — payment processing and platform-facilitated payments.
- Resend — transactional email delivery.
- Twilio — SMS/notification delivery.
- Railway — application hosting infrastructure.
5. Data location
We store and process personal information in the United States.
6. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the service and for the periods described in our Data Retention & Deletion Policy, then delete or de-identify it.
7. Your privacy rights (including CCPA/CPRA)
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA. Loadara does not sell your personal information.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at system@loadara.com. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You may also authorize an agent to make a request on your behalf. Where Loadara acts as a service provider processing driver data on behalf of a customer, we will direct applicable requests to that customer.
8. Security
- Tenant isolation: row-level security (RLS) separates each organization's data.
- Encryption in transit: traffic to the service is encrypted using TLS.
- Private document storage: uploaded documents (e.g., CDL and insurance files) are stored in private buckets and are not publicly accessible.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
Loadara is a business tool and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.
10. SMS / text messaging
Loadara sends operational text messages (dispatch assignments, work-ticket and inspection reminders, and load offers) to drivers and carrier contacts whose numbers are added to a workspace. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted; all other use categories exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent, which will not be shared with any third parties.
Message frequency varies based on dispatch and work activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by email.
